Meet the Dentists

Dr. H.T. Tran

Dr. Tran first came to the U.S. in 1975 when she was 9 years old, as Huong Thi Van Tran and grew up in Longview, Washington.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Martin's College in Lacey and graduated from the University of Washington Dental School in Seattle.  She has been in private practice in Washington state ever since, and has spent the past 13 years right here in Renton.

Dr. Tran has also trained at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, one of the top training centers for Cosmetic Dentistry in the County. Her advanced training in dentistry includes many cosmetic procedures such as porcelain veneers and dental implants.

She has dedicated her practice to providing the tools and the technology to improve your smile, easily and comfortably, and to giving you the smile you’ve always dreamed of.

In her free time, she enjoys taking long walks, reading and spending time with her two daughters and her husband John, taking short trips around the area.   

Dr. Jessica Emard

Dr. Emard obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in "Nutrition" and Minor in "Social Studies of Medicine" from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.  During college, she was a member of the women’s soccer team and worked as a research scientist.  She moved to Florida in 2003 and came to Seattle shortly after completing her DMD at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. 

Dr. Emard is very dedicated and passionate about her career and brings a lot of enthusiasm to the practice.  Her favorite part about dentistry is working with a patient to accomplish their dental needs and wants.  She recognizes each patient as an individual with unique goals and desires, and works with her patients to establish a treatment plan that suites their financial, emotional, and aesthetic concerns.  In her own words, "I believe patient education is the most valuable tool in dentistry and will make sure you understand the ins and outs and whys of your treatment before beginning any procedure."
